I offer regular CBT supervision through GetCBT, both online and face to face, as well as standalone feedback on CTS-R recordings and role-play practice.
My initial training was protocol-led, with a strong emphasis on understanding the mechanisms behind each intervention. Over time, I have become increasingly accustomed to working in a formulation-based way, developing treatment plans that reflect comorbidity, individual circumstances and each client’s personal goals.
I value developing a shared understanding with clients and believe that effective CBT should be genuinely collaborative. I tend to work methodically, using diagnostically informed assessment and measurement that goes beyond psychometric scores to build a more personalised understanding of the problem and how it is being maintained.
I bring the same collaborative approach to supervision. I want it to feel like a genuinely open space where we can explore what you need—whether that is thinking through a complex case, developing a formulation or treatment plan, reflecting on therapeutic processes, preparing for accreditation or building confidence in a particular approach.
Although I bring considerable clinical and leadership experience, I do not profess to know everything. I see supervision as a shared thinking process and often learn from the therapists I supervise too.
I have core training and experience in the evidence-based CBT protocols represented within the Roth and Pilling competencies, alongside formulation-based CBT. My practice also integrates approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, EMDR, mindfulness and DBT-informed skills - as appropriate and when needed.
My aim is to offer a warm and supportive space where you can think openly, ask questions without judgement, feel appropriately challenged and work towards your own professional goals.

I provide evidence-informed training and workshops that translate psychological research into clear, practical changes people can make in therapy, at work and within wider organisations.
Rather than simply presenting theory, I focus on what the evidence means in practice. For clinical audiences, this includes strengthening formulation, therapeutic decision-making and the confident application of CBT interventions.
For workplaces, it means helping employees and leaders understand what genuinely supports wellbeing, manage pressure more effectively and identify realistic organisational changes.
Drawing on my experience as both a CBT therapist and clinical leader, I tailor each workshop to the needs, knowledge and context of the audience.
Sessions are collaborative, engaging and grounded in real-world practice, with practical learning that people can use beyond the training room.
Previous workshops and training have included:
Feedback on previous workshops has been consistently excellent.
If you are interested in one of these topics, or would like me to develop bespoke training around the needs of your team, service or workplace - please get in touch.
